Communication text used for prediction

Published on 17 May 2021 The application concerns a complaint, under Article 9 of the Convention, about a breach of the applicants’ freedom of religion as a result of the dissemination of allegedly false and derogatory information concerning the applicants’ religion (Evangelical Christianity) by the municipal authorities to the schools in Burgas municipality.
The applicants further complain, under Article 14 of the Convention in conjunction with Article 9, that they were victims of discrimination in the enjoyment of their freedom of religion as a result of the dissemination of the information in which they were presented as being “dangerous” in comparison to other religious groups in Bulgaria.
